  1. reality says:

FL Republicans turned down Millions in Federal $$ that would have helped keep people out of nursing homes. And how much are they spending suing the Feds’ Affordable Healthcare law? And the EPA for clean water regulations? So FL funding its own inland waterway system makes sense. But there definitely needs to be more oversight. Indian River drive is a very scenic area. Why on earth are 2 dredging dumps there? FL Repubs in control seem determined to destroy FL’s natural assets that bring in so many tourism and recreational $$. Aren’t there unattractive, low population areas that could be used for dumps? Landfills can turn into to valuable hilly sites, if constructed properly. Surely we have the technology to do that, and FIND sure seems to have enough money.
